The Epiphany Moment

It’s been five long months since I sent out a Tweet asking folks if they were interested in a “top secret” project – what initially was going to be a simple blog post by yours truly, turned into a five person collaboration, which quickly turned into a 30-person experience. 5 months ago – 27 individuals sent me a brief video centered around the idea of “epiphanies”. An epiphany, to me, is life changing – it’s one of those moments in your life when everything comes together – when it all “makes sense” – a true moment of clarity…

Odds are, in some way or another, every single one of us has had one (or many) of those moments – and often those moments come at the most trying times in our lives. Our parents decide to separate, we’re diagnosed with a chronic illness, we lose our job, a loved one passes away, we move to a new place – these moments of change break us down to our most imperfect state, but they also provide us with a fresh perspective and renewed focus…

The end result of this project is incredible – with nearly 30 participants and the amazing work of Tim Jahn, who contributed his video-editing skills for this project, as well as Courtney Olson, who provided two ORIGINAL songs specifically for this project – The Epiphany Moment became, and is, more than I ever expected – and is truly presented in a very unique way…

And it doesn’t end there…

The goal of The Epiphany Moment is to be an ongoing collaboration. I hope that each and every one of you will take some time to look within, and share your own story. Turn on your webcam and press record. By clicking the “UPLOAD” button the The Epiphany Moment homepage, you can record and upload a video of your own on the spot – and once you upload, it will automatically be added to the page itself – meaning that this project truly has no end.

Thank you to EVERYONE who was and will be a part of this. It’s only the beginning! Without further ado – go see what all the fuss is about and experience The Epiphany Moment!
