My mom would always take soda cans and snacks in with us when we went to the movies - so sometime in the midst of the previews you would here that <i>"SSSSSSSSS"</i> sound as the can opened - which of course was followed by stares from everyone around us. Two years after I graduated, I went with a friend who was attending grad school to a student mixer in order to partake in the free, top-notch buffet food. I may or may not have convinced my then-girlfriend to smuggle McDonalds in her purse into a movie theater when I was in high school... My roommates are working very hard to stick to a budget. One of them has a guitar with two broken strings on it and refuses to buy a new set. He only needs four to play 'walk the line,' I think that's the only one he knows. :) Awesome book, I will definitely have to check it out, thanks for the heads up!
