Since then have had many job offers - a lot of them had to do with the networking I was doing online. Honestly, getting laid off a year ago was the BEST thing that ever happened to me. I figured out what I wanted from a job and finally found it. Good luck to you! And take SOME time to just enjoy it. I didn't and kind of regret it - I think I 'worked' harder unemployed than I did employed. :) Matt- I lost my job a year ago last Friday. With "Quick Hits", I force myself to write it within a time limit so it doesn't come across as a chore. And yes, Friday's rock, but Saturday/Sunday is better!
